I had the pleasure of being part of this pretty minimalistic chic style shoot that took place at the Walnut Contemporary Art Gallery. The gallery had clean white walls and exposed beams which allowed for the gray on gray tones and purples to stand out.
Magdelena of Oh So Chic Celebrations kept everything very clean and minimal on the table with simple flower arrangements and square vases and square menus that were placed on square plates.
The Sweet table was anchored by a squared cake and of set with square canvases with macaroons attached to it with a elegant white sugar flowers. The modern Cube Cupcakes were wrapped in custom wrappers created by Laura of Laura K Design and topped with a simple yet elegant white fantasy sugar flower.

Wanted to share some of our Red cakes and desserts on this romantic day!
Happy Valentines Day to all! xo
Oooh soo excited to share our “Dark Side of Love” 2013 Collection!!!
This years collection was meant to be dark, daring and theatrical! I wanted to shock and entertain the audience and have them walk away talking about the “bleeding cake”. The inspiration for the collection came from the several sources, one being from the popular Twilight series, Goth fashion and of course you can’t forget to mention the late, great Alexander McQueen. And yes…the “bleeding cake” may have been inspired by The Walking Dead series
I had a lot of fun creating this collection! The most fun was watching the reaction on peoples faces. I wish I had a hidden camera…it was just priceless!!!
I love what Rebecca Chan Weddings & Events wrote about our booth “I loved that Ida from The Cake Museum was not afraid to go beyond the expected whites and pinks of wedding cakes to create this themed collection. There was even a bleeding cake! It goes to show you cakes can be fully custom made, from theme to execution (let your imagine run wild!).”
I have to Thank Anne of Anne Edgar Photography for these amazing images! Thanks soooo much Anne xo
I hope you Enjoy xo
Here are a few images from the WedLuxe 2nd Annual Wedding Show, held at the Fairmont Royal York.
I hope you enjoy the truly opulent and absolutely delicious images, all courtesy of Devoted to You Inc. Thank you Elton and Carmen xo
Here are a few Cube Cupcakes that we created for the WeddingBells photo shoot for Canada’s Coolest Cupcakes.
Probably one of my most favourite colour combination…Black and Yellow! It always seems to resonate clean, contemporary and modern. Here are just a few samples of some past wedding cakes.
The Ice Princess….a fitting name for this piece.
Inspired by crystals and light, this piece was created for the Crystallized Bloom shoot for the WedLuxe Illumination issue. The piece not only feels modern but also futuristic. The bottom tier is completely made out of sugar and was created in order to have light illuminating from beneath the cake. The effect is pretty cool! The cake feels cool, icy and out of this world
Featured on WedLuxe Blog.
A big, huge THANK YOU to Alex Albojer of Life Images, Toronto Wedding Photographer.
Always an honour to be featured on WedLuxe Style Files!
The cake is an ultra modern piece with graffiti splatter and jewellery accents to extenuate it’s abstract yet delicate features. The bottom tier is completely edible and all hand cut-out and illuminated to create a futuristic atmosphere.
Loved this shoot <3
